I viewed a ground floor flat today with Bob. We were both underwhelmed but looking past the no carpets, peeling wall paper, hanging off the rails curtains, small kitchen and unfit for purpose bathroom we eventually saw its potential.

Nothing that a wet room and some graft can't sort. It's still sad though when their house of 40 years plus becomes too much and it's a case of 'have to'.

After the last few months it's good to finally have some optimism for the future with the possibility of giving Brenda some quality of life that I take for granted.

2015 bring it!
