Coastal erosion

I had a walk along our shore today, even though the wind was "quite bracing"! I was astounded to see the extent of the coastal erosion in parts. The last few weeks of huge wave pounding the shore is taking its toll. You can see some huge lumps in the mid-distance that have fallen off, and in the top right you can see where the erosion is undermining the village boundary fence. I reckon that about 3-4 metres have been removed over the last 20 years or so, but seldom so dramatically or so much at one time. as has happened in the past week.
