Cat

I know this is far from a good photo but just seemed right for today's blip.

This morning Hubby and I were just heading out for the daily dog walk when we met a lady at the side of the road. She had just found a cat lying on the road at the side of the kerb. The cat was in a bad way and had been very badly injured, probably by a car. We checked the cat's collar and the tag had it's name and a phone number on it. The lady phoned the cat's owner who lived just a short walk away.

Long story short, the owner came and collected his cat so at least the cat made it home to familiar surroundings but I am pretty sure it wouldn't have lived for very much longer.

As we carried on, on a much shorter walk, we spotted this cat making sure Roxy kept her distance. I knew I wouldn't get close enough for a decent photo however, it just seemed to be the right subject for today's blip.
