Autumn Leaves

Bitterly cold today as the wind whistles round the house blowing leaves in all directions, theres snow on the alps and a brisk front coming from Antartica - brrr!!

Mum and I popped out for our groceries bright and early, otherwise a day of house jobs - they never seem to disappear. Lovely to have a phone call from Daugher A who is heading to Auckland tonight for a design conference, she was one of a selected few from uni to go and observe and participate, shes so excited! A three day conference, I'm sure she will come back with her head full of ideas.

All in all a quiet day, fairly productive and now have the smell of tea drifting through the house - beef casserole, comfort food for a cold Autumn day :)

I'll leave you with some more Autumn leaves with their pink stems and soft shades which seemed to have accumulated near my front door.
