Handmade Gifts

Friday was such a fun day.  Sugar's school has an "Around the World Celebration", and it is always fantastic.  The kids really enjoy it.  I love volunteering for it.  They take the entire school grades Kindergarten through 8th, and make 5 groups of mixed ages.  Then the groups travel from classroom to classroom, and learn about different holiday traditions from around the world.  It is educational, and fun.  

After that in the morning, I headed to work for awhile.  I was able to leave early enough to get Sugar directly from school.  It was fun to get a chance to nab a shot of Sugar Bear and her teacher.  He is wearing the hat she crocheted for him.  It is her first completed crochet project and she is so very proud. 

After school, we went to a friend's house for a small ornament exchange with Sugar's best buddies.  There were treats, laughs, and of course the ornaments.  So perfect.  

Sugar and I ran a few errands and headed on home feeling so very blessed.
