Sky Guys

Saturday morning my daughter and I went down to Seattle to spend the weekend with my son and now that Lizzie is diabetic and needs insulin twice a day, I can’t leave her at home.  She spent the weekend at her vet clinic and this morning before work I went to pick her up.    This was her very first boarding experience and judging from the amount and volume of her vocalizations on the way home, she was telling me that she did not have a resort-type experience and would not be recommending it to her friends.  I’m fairly confident that she was treated well, but apparently she had different standards.  On the other hand, she might have been upset because I sort of dropped her carrier on the way to the car when I spotted the sky guys flying overhead.   “Dropped” may be too dramatic, but I confess to putting her down abruptly when I lunged for the car and my camera.  I’m not sure she understands what effect a blip sighting has on a person.
