Dry and lonely

December challenge / Mono Monday / Festive
Plant spotted in a deserted corner of a medical clinic.


Perfect, I thought, a little Christmas pot for the "Festive" challenge.

But when I got close, the magenta tag that I thought was a decoration turned out to be a sign that says, "Please Don't Water Me!"

Alas, it's not in mono, but then the whole holiday green-and-red confusion would be missed. It's also not festive, as it turns out. Consider it the artistic equivalent of 'negative space.'
