Open...

Alex and I were working down near Colchester today - four hours of driving and about three hours walking round a quarrry and a farm hunting for a rare plant. It was grey and blustery, and everything looked remarkably bleak. 

At the farm we parked close to a derelict shed, shrouded in ivy and with an old rusty metal pipe near the roof on one side. I'm not sure what might have come out of it when the wheel was opened.. A shame it wasn't Thursday!
