Hot work

Gruissan, like many small towns,  has many individual art shops. This one "Verre Soufflé" is owned by Philippe Merloz, the glassblower in the blip, and his wife who makes jewellery from the glass.  We had an interesting time watching him make a beautiful amber coloured vase.  The heat inside the workshop was tremendous and we were there for only a short time.  I bought a pendant for my sister and a ring for my daughter, which I'll keep until Christmas.
