In the round

Odd day at work, pretty much on my own, and all the 'stuff' that seemed so important last week seems pretty trivial today.

Still I managed to get expenses and finance processed and sent to finance, who knows if they are in, nodded off while reading during lunch, kept the emails going, and started the 'list' (catering, room bookings, accommodation, timetable, dietary requirements, security, lab passes, course dinner, menus) for the first course in the New Year and will finish it tomorrow.

Then it will be home in time for Becca and Tim to arrive, then Simon will arrive Wednesday morning before we go to Mum and Dad's for lunch. 

And then it will be a nice relaxed Christmas Eve dinner for the five of us, the same five on Christmas Day, Becca and Tim will go to their Dad's on Boxing Day, back in the evening, Simon will leave during Boxing Day ready to take his son skiing on the 27th, Becca leaves to see her boyfriend in the States early on the 27th, Tim will be going to see his girlfriend, as they all leave Geoff's daughter, Jenny, her husband, Dave, and grandchildren Lewis and Amy will arrive, then it will be sleep and repeat on the 28th with Geoff's son, Gary, and his wife, Penny, joining us for a 'Christmas' dinner.
