The Michelin Man....

A lot of rain last night -over 2" in the guage this morning. Mucking out and bedding cattle ,a usual Monday chore. Nipped off for a hair cut,only to find that (according to the bit of card in his window,) so had the barber.Be back at 12. Couldn't wait so went and bought flowers to do the graves for Christmas. Mrs Farmerboab out meeting friends for coffee and a new baby to see. Then tonight she is off out on the ran dan with the pot luck lot. This being on holiday lark sounds like hard work.
Mr Michelin has been part of an old metal map hanging on a barn wall for the last 30 odd years. Rescued him from a garage closing down at the time. Like me,he is starting to get a bit rusty and rounded with old age !
