After Sunset on Swan Lake

I have often posted photos of this old, flooded, gravel pit which often has a huge flock of swans on it, but never at the close of day. I realise that I am a creature of habit, driving past this on my way to shop, always in the morning. Thank goodness for that emergency shopping I had to do tonight!

However I have just seen the news about the Glasgow deaths and feel so sad, makes my quest for photos seem so trite somehow.
