The Lifeline Express hospital train travels the length and breadth of India 'taking the hospital to the people'.


The hospital train is fortunate to receive assistance from medical volunteers from all over the world - people who give up their time and expertise to help those patients who come on board.

£40 is the average cost of restoring sight, hearing or mobility, or repairing a cleft lip on board the train's operating theatres. Over 100,000 life transforming surgeries have now taken place on the Lifeline Express.
