'Christmas Lunch with Mum, Nan & Geoff'

As they can't make it over to our house on Christmas day, we decided to have our Christmas lunch together today instead.

Great to catch up with everyone and enjoy sharing a meal with everyone.

This will be the first time since I've been married that Mum won't be joining us (or us joining them) for lunch. My brother Matt will be hosting them this year before heading off to Michelle's family also.

This afternoon we visited the patient at home. Bill's arms are completely covered in thick padding and bandages, now resembling the Michelin Man, he seemed in good spirits, even though the burns he suffered are much worse than we all originally thought. His arms will be mostly out of action for the next couple of weeks until the bandages can be removed depending on progress. It just means that I'm going to be forced to go over to their house more regularly, drink beer and watch the cricket and music videos on TV just to keep him company while incapacitated. Sheez, the things you have to do for friends huh!

I'm just about to head out to do my Christmas shopping as Doncaster is open tonight until midnight, I'm hoping it won't be too crazy at this hour. Tomorrow night they stay opened until 2am.
