All alone for Christmas

These  heifer's are two of around seven that were left at Lamberts Castle when the rest of the herd, of some 20 - 30 cattle, were moved off.

They seem a little lost and missing the company of the rest.  They were a very close unit and tended to stay close together. Mind you it could be that the rest are no more!!!!!!
