Christmas in the Plaza

Discovery Bay's annual event 'Nativity in the Plaza' was held yesterday. Three churches, including ours, get together to tell the Christmas story and I'm always amazed at how children are fascinated by it, you can see them all crowded around the stage. It's good to see in this world of technology, a story so well known and simple, can still be so engaging, especially with people dressed in character.

Had a rather nice family day actually, was grateful for that. The four of us had the honour of lighting the fourth advent candle in church today.

Tomorrow more family time with a rather posh lunch at the Pen! Then Christmas shopping with the boys. Should be fun.
