A bigger puddle

This one proved impassable.

On the shortest day we set off to take a photo for #loversoflight and found light in short supply. The idea was to go up this track to join the Pennine Way above Crowden where lots of trees are being felled between the track and the A628 - letting more light in - it was a reasonable plan.

Welington boots were required for this section and we had not packed them so Plan A was abandoned and this became Plan B.

We did see some Kestrels and took some other photos so it was worth it.

Later - lots of football on the telly !
