Winter Solstice - the shortest day of the year
Really tried to participate in 'a day in the life of daylight' challenge celebrating the shortest day of sunlight on the northern hemisphere.
I had a perfect location set up and had determined that at 15:47 - 15:57 the sun would perfectly shine in between two buildings illuminating a white tower into a gold lit one.
The down side was that the sun didn't get one opportunity today to break through the grey overcast, not even for one second :(
So I had to find an artificial devine light environment and this church with its grand advent candles and chandeleers was the best alternative find I'm afraid.
Nevertheless will make the planned shot as soon as the sun does shine on the tower one of these days, promise!
