New bus shelter for Mold

Our local town (pop 10,000) has finally proved that Wales can afford to become independent and go it alone without the financial support of England. 

In reality the local council has more money than sense. In these hard times they thought it was a good idea to revamp the small town square that is only used to house a few stalls on market day. I previously Blipped this from there. They have built this bandstand (in this day and age, I ask you, a bandstand), put down new block paving and some seating around the few trees scatted around the edge. Can you believe in these tough economic times, supposedly intelligent councillors can agree to the cost of this folly, how much I hear you ask, a mere (drum roll please)… £650,000
