Limburg an der Lahn

It's been a good day. Off the ferry pretty quickly and no roadworks to speak of, so made good time and got to Limburg earlier then expected; it was still
light!
And the old town is great, almost one giant Christmas market. We wandered around by daylight and again after it got dark. Gluwein keeps you going! Took in a visit to the cathedral, caught part of an advent concert in another church where the acoustics were phenomenal (those medieval Franciscans sure knew a thing or two about building), had an obligatory cake and coffee in the square that I've blipped and now back in the Gasthaus for some rest, beer and scran. Phew!!
