Druridge Bay
Druridge Bay
It was very windy but also incredibly mild. These concrete blocks were our amazing strategic plan to keep the German Army at bay during the second world war. They certainly would have been fooled by this and retreated home. This, on the 100 year anniversary just past when German battleships shelled Hartlepool and Scarborough. So, it is not so safe on the bleak Northumberland and North East coast!
