Rose
Today is the shortest day, in the UK, so it is now downhill all the way to Spring and the lighter evenings; although the difference will not be noticeable for a while!
We went into Bishop’s Stortford early this morning as the GOG has been trying to purchase a tool he needs to complete a job; he finally got one in Coopers. We went early to ensure a parking space and had breakfast then after our brief encounter with the shops, we came home, just as the world got up and began fighting for a car parking space, almost before I had moved my car.
Today’s picture is of an orange Rose, still blooming in one of the tubs by our front door. I was going to blip one of the Hyacinths just coming through in one of the window boxes, but that will improve as time goes on; this Rose, I am sure, will fade before too long.
