KING OF FRUIT

The Durian is regarded is the King of Fruit throughout South East Asia. Among its distinctive characteristics is its very strong odour, much like something rotten, or worse. The odour is so unpleasant that the fruit has been banished from most hotels and public transport. Nevertheless some people find the odour quite pleasant. The fruit is also a popular delicacy for many people. It is however at the best an acquired taste, one that I personally could not yet get to acquire.
