Rome Strike placard

On 12 December Public transport workers were on strike in Rome. Police closed the roads in the centre, The 'red bus' had to divert, so we saw a little more.  At the end of the day this placard lay abandoned opposite the Termini Station (we assumed from the strike - translation?), and by some ruins from ancient Rome.  Ten thousand odd years ago a young Senator led workers in a protest and was butchered for his sins., though things improved a generation later. Some lessons from history there.
