Shattered Sky

The greatest thing about life's beautiful little motivations telling you "you can make it out alive" is they appear exactly when you don't expect them to be there. I was going home from a very tiring day at school and was very sick and couldn't wait to reach home, climb onto my bed and never leave it again. But then suddenly the sun flashed into my eyes and I looked up, and saw this beautiful pattern and the tree in the middle, making the sky look like it was swallowed by the tree. In the city I am living in, and considering I am not living on campus or anywhere green (for which I would give so many things) seeing these kind of natural beauties is very rare, and they are very effective on my mood. Despite the city background and the fact that the photograph was hastily taken, I like it very much - warm sunsets and dead trees.
