Deep purple

Had no chance to take photos until 8.00 ish and the light had gone outside, so a quick look around the house and all I could see was the flower arrangement from yesterday.

So I thought a macro shot for a change.

The dwarf flags/iris are fascinating when viewed up close, and a little back lighting adds more interest to the image.
