It's late, and the weather's foul out there. So something sort of seasonal from about the house. Apologies for being lazy and not finding somewhere better to take the snap. Somewhere without a single fluorescent tube providing the lighting... and those highlights.

Lens, for those into such things, isn't Nikon's super expensive 58mm f/1.4. Instead it's a much smaller, and lighter, manual focus lens by Voigtlander. It's also a darned sight cheaper (especially if it's secondhand!). I do have a soft spot for their lenses. Lovely old style quality feel to them, and their operation. Generally very good optically too. Manual focus - no bother... if you're not in a hurry.
