Continuing the Christmas Theme

When children are in hospital at Christmas it's not only them that need some extra attention but their families as well. On our ward we have a parents room, a child free zone where parents can escape to have a drink, watch TV or just de-stress. Our parent support worker decorates the room for Christmas and leaves festive goodies like mince pies or biscuits for the parents. She also makes sure that Father Christmas knows which parents are staying then he knows which presents to leave!
