Tour De Helvellyn Fell Race

I had a fine 4 wainwright day today taking in Stybarrow Dodd, Watson Dodd, Great Dodd and whilst I was there, why not do Clough Head.
It was cold with a big windchill and on the way up to Sticks Pass I chanced upon lots of Fell Runners competing in the Tour de Helvellyn.
Every one was friendly and looked as though they were having a ball.
I think everyone said "good Morning" in one form or another.

I wish I could say the same for the miserable young lady supposedly helping out in in Legburthwaite Village Hall (A feeding and watering station) at the start of my walk who was down right rude to me for no reason, I merely asked about parking. Ms "Makes no difference to me" was very off hand.
Of course I would be too much of a gentleman to respond in a similar way, should she ever require my assistance on the hill!
Certainly not a lady of good character
