Its beginning to look a lot like...

...Christmas. My tree was a present from a friend (I've to see how long I can keep it alive) and I'm not sure where the reindeer's come from.

My kettle broke. The main aim today was replacing broken kettle. This is a time of year when you cannot go without a kettle. So I had to brave the shops, which weren't too bad. And I got a new kettle that claims to boil in 45s (for one cups worth or water) so I'll test that out sometime.
