It's nearly Christmas...

I love this nativity scene that I put on the mantelpiece every Christmas. It always brings home the true reason for our celebrations.
I like the simplicity of this scene - the figures are wooden carvings from Russia. I bought the most beautiful Christmas decorations when I stayed with daughter S in Russia and look forward to putting them on the Christmas tree tomorrow when daughter P is here.
