Colour All Year Round

Paid a visit on Friday to Caulders Garden Centre in Kirkintilloch - the plan being to have some lunch and look for Christmas gifts for friends who are keen gardeners. Being the last Friday before Christmas, the cafe was very busy but, once I got seated and served, the lunch was most enjoyable.

While I was there - it was 2.30pm when I arrived so there wasn't a lot of daylight left in the day - it got very dark and there was a very heavy rainstorm, which put paid to any ideas of wandering round and looking at the outdoor plants. However, the sun burst through again - albeit briefly between the downpours - and created a marvellous double rainbow; in fact the clearer one formed a complete arch although you can't see this in the photograph.

The sign "Colour All Year Round" was an added bonus - although I'm still wondering where "Summer Magic" came in! It was too wet to go out from under the overhead canopy and explore further. And, as a further bonus, I did manage to find a couple of Christmas presents for my friends.
