Dickensian Day

We went to the Lymm Dickensian festival today.  We've never been before and it was a lot of fun!  The children really loved the Morris dancers, enough to watch them twice.  There was a rival group with flowered headdresses and handkerchiefs as well but this was my favourite. Later on we went to a friend's house and watched the flotilla (a secession of lit-up canal boats ending with a special Santa float) on the banks of the canal next to her garden while singing Christmas carols.  It was magical!  I really could not choose between these two photos so you get them both- day and night.
