Birdlife on the loch

A better morning for a walk round the loch although the rain did come on as I neared the end of my circuit.  The gulls have a tendency to follow anyone they think might have some bread, the swans on the other hand wait until they see a hand reach into the bag and then cast the crumbs upon the water.  Today I decided to give the swans a miss and took my few crumbs up to the far end of the loch where only the mallards were left to fight with the gulls.
Off to a Christmas concert with friends tonight ..... meal first .... of course!
