Christmas Window Display

A bright but chilly day.

I was down in Broughty Ferry on 'Panic Saturday' as they are calling it. I have to confess that my usual approach to Christmas preparations is to but my wife's present and oversee Eleanor doing all the rest. She is brilliant at it and it works well for us :-) Of course, I used to have all the Christmas Carol Services to prepare but this year I don't have any of that - I can just sit back and enjoy everything. Call me a typical man if you like - it is true as far as Christmas is concerned!

While in the town, I spotted this amazing Display in Gillies Furniture shop. Very musical it was too and all the figures move about. It has won an award as the best Window Display in Town - and rightly so.

Later, we are going to have a big Christmas Dinner at my son's house since he and his family are off to New Zealand on Monday for three weeks. Shame - they will have to have Christmas Dinner on the beach!
