Heaven's New Angels

I went to Martin Place this afternoon.  Outside the Lindt cafe has been cordoned off and an orderly queue formed to walk around the flowers and cards left by Sydneysiders and others.  People were quiet in a silent reflection.  Reverent as they circled the sea of flowers.  Teddy bears and other soft toys were left not to mention some beautiful messages.  Two that struck me were these:

To the family and friends of Tori and Katrina, the staff and customers of the cafe, the NSW police, emergency services and everyone else involved on 15/16 December.  Words cannot express the sadess we feel for all the brave people lost, injured or involved over these two terrible days.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you try to recover.  May god bless every one of you.  Peta Daniel and our children.

And;

In a situation of fear, uncertainty and panic, without hesitation, you protected others.

May your families find courage and solace in your sacrifice so in any future challenge, they too will not be dictated by the environment but by their own virtues.

It's amazing the good things that have come out of this horrific act.  Overall, the message was Peace, love and hope and with sorrow for those who had been affected by this tragedy.
