The Meadow

We don't really have meadows in Australia, we have paddocks. They are either dry or grassy. But this little paddock beside the house at the farm looks more like a meadow to me. Green from the recent rain with purple and yellow weeds and lot of bees and butterflies.

I was busy getting organised to have the family stay for Christmas so it was a quick shot. I had to decide between a bee or butterfly, so chose the latter.
