Montreal in the snow

There was a beautifully hideous snow storm while I was in Montreal. Leaving the hostel meant trudging through over a foot of snow in places and forcing your way against the wind. I resigned myself to not seeing much of Montreal.

That is until some gent at the hostel offered to drive me through old town so I could see some sights and get some pics and not die in a snowdrift. 

So I got to see Notre Dame (Which had these glorious light angels hung in every archway and every picture I took was blurry as hell), the old town and the town hall which I did manage to photograph.
