A Stitch In Time

A borrowed overlocker sewing machine for today's photo.

It's interesting when I look at this piece of equipment how much depth of knowledge one has in their niche area. For example, my wife has little or no understanding of aperture, shutter speed or focal length. Conversley, I look at this machine and I'm flummoxed. I have no idea what's going on, why are there two needles? In fact, I couldn't even tell you what an overlock is!

She's the dressmaker and I'm the photographer and never the twain shall meet ;)
