Before the chaos!

As we started our lunchtime walk at The Argory, we met this lovely Lab, Duke. He is new to his owner, sadly his previous owner died, but he seems to have found a good home now.
It was downhill from then on, as I returned to work, afterwards, to utter chaos, some heavy duty plant had "fried" some of the electrical connections & one of the power circuits supplying the office block was adversely effected & the UPS could not cope with the demands on it , I had to liaise with our IT service providers to get the systems back up. What an utter headache, as it is a very busy time of year for the business, so very bad timing. I lost the whole afternoon to it & it stopped other colleagues from getting anything done at all for hours. Very frustrating all round. I'm hoping not to repeat a day like that & have suggested isolating the power supply to the office block, we'll see if anyone listens!
