A Magical Day

Semi-Q and I took the train all the way to Edinburgh today!

It definitely is much chillier over there!

We wandered along George Street doing a bit of shopping (and dodging the squally showers).

We picked up our tickets for the ballet and had a lovely lunch in the cafe at the Festival Theatre. The Nutcracker was a magical performance and got a seal of approval from Semi-Q (she knows every note of the music and every step of the ballet!).

We headed to the Christmas Market and had a wee look around before heading home.

We also had to pass the Dome to check out the very festive decorations on the pillars!

All in all, a lovely way to spend a day.
