Candytuft

Aethionema armenun 'Warley Ruber' reminds me of the annual Candytuft that I used to grow as a child. This one is a dwarf perennial, an excellent rock garden plant. 'Warley Rose', another, paler form, originating from the same garden, is more widely grown.

For scale, the whole flower head is the size of my thumbnail!
