Red Bellied Woodpecker

He was quite aggressive and was pecking at the sparrows preventing them from getting on the feeder while he was on it.  As soon as the woodpecker left,  a hawk came swooping down and scared the remaining birds off.  It also scared the sh*t out of me as it flew under the porch and within inches of my face  - close enough that I could feel the breeze from it!  

BTW - I rather would have gotten a blip of the hawk but I guess that will have to wait for another day...
