Sunset behind glass

The Fens may be bleak and boring at times but we do get some superb sunsets, especially lately, probably due to the flat landscape and dust in the air.  It also helps that at this time of the year, they are occurring at the time I am mostly looking for a blip. 

Today was another trip to Nottingham where my brother was discharged.  Time will tell how much of his sight he will regain although now the oil has been removed, the wavy lines have gone.  Fingers crossed the retina does not detach again now it is no longer being held in place by the oil.

Nb  There was more red in the original photo.  This is ok but I preferred the one out of the camera!
