Christmas Jumpers
Today lots of us wore Christmas Jumpers to raise funds for the Sahara Children's Orphanage in Nepal which is our school charity. We support the education of six boys at the orphanage. It's been a fun day and the highlight for me was to receive a box of chocs from a young man for reviewing his personal statement. He has received his first offer from university and was beaming from ear to ear. The fun was tinged with sadness as several colleagues are moving on and I will miss Neil who was my boss when I first made the move from teacher to mentor. He is to take up a well deserved headship at another school within our academy family. He called me his surrogate mum which is just fine with me!
Can you spot me?!
