Wax & Gromit

The cause of much trouble. One grommit and a big (there was more) lump of wax that was on child#2's eardrum. Extracted with a rather long metal sticky poky thing today, with a "I'll just give it a go if you hold her down" and the immediate application of stickers and spinning around in the 'magic' chair until the screaming subsided. We rushed back to school in time for the last 5 minutes of Show And Tell but not enough time to show and tell. Apparently. Although as the TA has been stung by medical S&T before - a rather graphic account (complete with large photo) of threadworms - perhaps she was just avoiding it.
