Rescued at sea

The first full day of our cruise was a little more exciting than we thought it may be. It was a day at sea - which we were really looking forward to, for a chance to chill.
We passed a small fishing boat, and a few minutes later we were told by the captain they appeared to be in trouble so we were going to check. A huge ship takes a long while to do a 360 circle but they managed in a relatively short time. The long and the short if it - a rescue boat was sent out to discover 3 fisherman from Barnados were adrift and had been for 3 days. They were not too well(!!) so were seen by the ship doctors, then a coast guard boat came from Grenada to take them back to shore. Our captains actions probably saved their lives- what a amazing start to our holiday.
