Sick Bay

Wow, what a week. Been fighting a chest infection and made the mistake of working through it. Went downhill fast again and picked up a new virus and lost all the feeling in my left arm. Ended up in hospital to undergo tests to see if I had a mini stroke. Thankfully, after a lot of worry, it was viral and a trapped nerve in my shoulder. Still feeling pretty grotty and now my little man has come down with it.
A very sleepless night and he misses his Christmas fun at school today. I tried cheering him up with his message from Santa. He managed a few half smiles and went back to sleep. I wish I could make him better, and me...so we can all get on and have a magical Christmas!
