Oh Blip, where have you been? I tried uploading a picture last night on my phone but the app kept crashing. Oh well, I shall have to stick with the computer for now.

We've had a huge spectrum of emotions happening over the past couple of days but I've made it through ... I think! The stress of organising the school Christmas Grotto ended with a huge jubilation after the children had seen him. But was followed by a couple of parents moaning. Of course the moans are always louder than the praise, so it makes you deflated. It really is like a balloon and a pin! No matter how much praise you get, it only takes one little prick to ruin a lovely thing.

On top of all that, we've had to separate the guinea pigs at food time as the girls were literally starving our boy. Greedy gompers were pushing him out the way and nagging and picking on him. He had lost weight and was looking very old and sorry for himself. Amazingly, a week later, he has put on weight and looks a bit happier. Poor thing was literally being nagged to death.

On a sadder topic, the hamster (Tittle), who had been doing so well in getting better, has passed away during the night. My youngest will be devastated but we were lucky to have her this long as she was at deaths door a few weeks ago.

So today I will go out for the ritual end of term lunch with some of the mums and I'll try and not sound off to them about everything too much!
