Christmas Parade

Our little town has a Christmas parade every year. People come from all over to view it. There is always a Santa float that throws lollies out to the children. Believe it or not a friend and I made all the clown suits about twenty years ago and I am sure they could do with some new ones. There is the pipe band and all the scouts guides etc go in it as well as some hilarious ones that take a swipe at the local government or politics.
Gives everyone a light hearted family time out to catch up with all the villagers on the side of the street as they wait for it to start.
Very hot here today and I have been baking all-day and at this late hour am about to start icing the 80th birthday cake I have made for a friend for tomorrow.
